Every trip starts at the shop

The good riding is two hours or more from Albany. That's a long way to find out the belt is glazed or the battery is weak. A pre-trip check here is the first waypoint.

The service route

Three kinds of work, in the order most machines need them. Not sure which you need? Tell us what it's doing and we'll tell you.

  1. Maintenance inspections

    Before the trip

Find problems early, before they leave you stranded.

We go over the machine from front to back and tell you plainly what it needs now, what can wait, and what's fine. You decide what gets done.

  2. Engine tune-ups

    Before the season

Easy starts, smooth idle, full power.

A tune-up brings back the way the engine is supposed to run. We set it to the maker's specs so it starts easily and runs smooth and reliable.

  3. Repairs and overhauls

    After a hard run

Fix what broke. Rebuild what's worn out.

From a single part to a full engine rebuild. Repairs and overhauls keep a good machine going for years, often for less than replacing it. We'll talk it through with you before any big job.
